Main research directions: research on the interaction between mechanical ventilation and cardiopulmonary function after pediatric congenital heart disease surgery, basic research on pulmonary circulation physiology, and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension. In recent years, he has carried out clinical and fluid mechanics research on pediatric airway malformations, as well as research on the impacts of air pollution on children's respiratory system. As a key team member, he has won the Third Prize of the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, the Second Prize of the Maternal and Child Health Science and Technology Achievement Award, and the First Prize of the Pudong New Area Science and Technology Progress Award. As the principal investigator, he has obtained one National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scientists Fund) project and one guiding project from the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality. He has published more than 30 papers as the first author and corresponding author, including 6 SCI papers and 3 EI papers.

He has been engaged in the clinical work of perioperative intensive care for pediatric congenital heart disease for more than 20 years. He specializes in the early diagnosis and management of various complications after congenital heart disease surgery, such as perioperative mechanical ventilation and respiratory management techniques, diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension, etc. Since 2007, he has served as the group leader of the Respiratory Therapy Group in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of Shanghai Children's Medical Center. He focuses on mechanical ventilation management and clinical research for critically ill children, and is committed to perioperative diagnosis, treatment and long-term follow-up of airway stenosis, as well as long-term follow-up of pulmonary hypertension after congenital heart disease surgery. Overseas training experience: He once studied pediatric bronchoscopy techniques and pediatric respiratory therapy at Schneider Children's Medical Center in Israel.
