He pioneered the integrated minimally invasive and cosmetic surgical treatment of congenital heart disease via lateral thoracotomy in China, with minimally invasive operations accounting for over 80%. He is proficient in the surgical treatment of various complex congenital heart diseases. Currently, he independently performs more than 500 congenital heart disease surgeries each year, and has completed nearly 4,000 various congenital heart disease surgeries in total.
