He has long been engaged in pathological diagnosis of thoracic and pulmonary diseases. He has participated in a number of national, provincial and municipal research projects, presided over 1 National Natural Science Foundation project and 1 project of Shanghai Health Commission, and taken part in compiling one monograph. As the first author/co-first author and corresponding author, he has published more than 20 papers in total, including 17 SCI papers. As a major participant, he won the First Prize of Shanghai Anti-Cancer Association; as the project principal investigator, he received the Third Prize of Clinical Achievement Award of Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital twice.

Specialties: Diagnosis of thoracic neoplastic diseases such as lung cancer and thymoma; especially skilled in the diagnosis of difficult non-neoplastic pulmonary lesions including interstitial lung disease.
