Engaged in the prevention and treatment of occupational lung diseases for more than 20 years, with dual professional backgrounds in clinical medicine and public health. He is familiar with laws and regulations related to occupational diseases and has strong research capabilities, having published more than 50 academic papers. By applying pathological examination of lung biopsy tissues, electron microscopic X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy microanalysis and X-ray diffraction techniques, he obtains evidence for pneumoconiosis pathology and productive dust, so as to diagnose difficult pneumoconiosis cases. In particular, he has developed solutions for pneumoconiosis among migrant workers, who are highly mobile and hard to diagnose with only a single chest radiograph.

He specializes in diagnosing complicated pneumoconiosis using lung tissue pathology, electron microscopy energy spectrum analysis and other technologies, especially tackling the difficulties in confirming pneumoconiosis diagnoses for migrant workers.
