Chief Physician of the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Tenured Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Tongji University, Vice President of Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital. He is mainly engaged in minimally invasive surgery and precise comprehensive treatment of thoracic diseases. He has long been involved in the diagnosis and treatment of small pulmonary nodules. Meanwhile, he has initiated multiple clinical trials of immunotherapy neoadjuvant therapy and targeted neoadjuvant therapy for non-small cell lung cancer, as well as clinical research on immunotherapy neoadjuvant therapy for small cell lung cancer. He is an Outstanding Academic Leader of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and an Outstanding Discipline Leader of the Shanghai Health Commission. As a corresponding author or co-corresponding author, he has published original research findings in authoritative journals such as Nature Communications, Genome Medicine, BMC Medicine, Genome Biology, Journal of Thoracic Oncology, Nucleic Acid Research, and Gut Microbes.

He has long been dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of thoracic diseases. He holds unique insights into the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of benign and malignant pulmonary nodules, and has extensive experience in neoadjuvant therapy and adjuvant therapy for locally advanced lung cancer.
