The team currently has 9 supervisors, 40 doctoral students and 17 master students. The team has undertaken 3 National Natural Science Foundation Excellent Young Scientists Fund projects, 9 General Program projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and more than 30 provincial and ministerial research projects.

His long-term research focuses on the development and clinical application of tissue-engineered trachea, clinical and basic research of lung transplantation and lung repair, optimization of clinical diagnosis and treatment pathways and basic research for surgical management of early-stage lung cancer, as well as artificial intelligence and multi-omics for lung cancer diagnosis, treatment and clinical translation.
