Graduated from the School of Rehabilitation Therapy, Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1993 with a Bachelor of Medicine degree, and obtained a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Medicine and Physical Therapy from Sun Yat-sen University in 2006. He has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching and scientific research of physical therapy for many years. He delivers lectures on courses including Kinesiology, Therapeutic Exercise, and Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy for undergraduate students majoring in Rehabilitation Therapy at Sun Yat-sen University. He is in charge of and gives lectures on Physical Agent Modalities. He pursued further training in the Physiotherapy Departments of MacLehose Medical Rehabilitation Centre and Kowloon Hospital in Hong Kong, and completed a six-month visiting study at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2006.

Specializes in physical agent therapy and exercise therapy for musculoskeletal pain (cervical spondylosis, upper crossed syndrome, shoulder disorders, osteoarthritis, postpartum pain, etc.), post-orthopedic surgery conditions (rotator cuff repair, anterior cruciate ligament rupture, Achilles tendon rupture, total knee and total hip arthroplasty, etc.), pediatric disorders (congenital torticollis, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, brachial plexus injury), and peripheral nerve injuries.
