Research Achievements: Principal investigator of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Basic and Applied Basic Research Foundation, General Program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and Young Faculty Development Program of Sun Yat-sen University. He also participates in key projects and special fund projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 20 SCI papers in authoritative international journals including ATVB, Cardiovascular Research, Advanced Science, Journal of Hypertension and Human Mutation. He holds 2 authorized patents and 1 software copyright in cardiovascular research.

Research Interests: (1) Basic and translational research on atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease; (2) Pathogenesis of vascular endothelial injury induced by hypertension and aging as well as stem cell-based repair; (3) Biomechanical regulatory mechanisms of vascular endothelial injury and repair.

Medical Expertise: Specializes in standardized and individualized diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease, hypertension, valvular heart disease, arrhythmia and heart failure. He is committed to minimally invasive cardiovascular interventional therapy, mainly including: high-risk and complex coronary intervention (chronic total occlusion, severe calcification, left main and bifurcation lesions), renal artery intervention (stenting, balloon angioplasty and sympathetic denervation for refractory hypertension), and interventional therapy for valvular heart disease (transcatheter aortic valve replacement, mitral valve clipping, etc.). He serves as a core member of the multidisciplinary team for renovascular hypertension.
