Education and Work Experience: He graduated from the Department of Medicine, Hunan Medical College in 1985 with a Bachelor of Medicine degree, and obtained his Master of Medicine in Cardiology from The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in 1992. He has worked in the Department of Cardiology of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University since 1992. He served as Associate Chief Physician of Cardiology from 2002 to 2006 and was promoted to Chief Physician of Cardiology in 2006.

Research Interests: Basic and clinical research on coronary heart disease and cardiovascular intervention, arrhythmia, heart failure and other diseases.

Medical Expertise: Engaged in frontline clinical work in cardiovascular medicine for 20 years, he has accumulated rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease, hypertension, congenital heart disease and valvular heart disease. He pioneered interventional catheter therapy for complex left main coronary artery lesions, the application of drug-eluting stents, interventional treatment for acute myocardial infarction, transradial PCI for coronary heart disease, as well as the use of IVUS and rotational atherectomy in our hospital.
