He has been working in cardiopulmonary vascular medicine for more than ten years and has performed tens of thousands of coronary interventional procedures. He is one of the operators with the highest success rate for antegrade and retrograde recanalization of chronic total coronary occlusions. He serves as a trainer at the National Training Base for Cardiovascular Interventional Therapy (Coronary Intervention).

He founded the Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic and is the lead of this subspecialty. He also acts as the director of the Guangdong Provincial Training Base for Interventional Therapy of Adult Congenital Heart Disease. He has performed many first-in-case procedures, including the first percutaneous atrial septostomy for heart failure, the first biodegradable patent foramen ovale closure, the first biodegradable atrial septal defect closure, the first percutaneous patent foramen ovale suture, the first percutaneous pulmonary artery denervation for pulmonary hypertension, and the first percutaneous pulmonary artery stenting. He has completed the largest number of minimally invasive interventional procedures for adult congenital heart disease in the hospital. He is a core panel member of the expert consensus and guidelines for the clinical use of biodegradable patent foramen ovale occluders in China.

He specializes in complex coronary interventional procedures and interventional treatment of congenital heart diseases (atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, patent foramen ovale, patent ductus arteriosus, coronary fistula, etc.). He is highly proficient in the diagnosis and management of pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary vascular diseases.
