He established a well-established and technically advanced domestic assay for NMO-IgG/anti-AQP4 antibody detection, and conducted in-depth research on the treatment of refractory neuromyelitis optica. His clinical research identified mycobacterial infection as an important cause of myelitis in China. He also has distinctive insights into the diagnosis and management of neuropathic pain. He diagnosed the first case of spontaneous intracranial hypotension syndrome and the first case of Dejerine-Sottas disease in China. He has published 7 clinical SCI articles in international journals and has over 20 years of clinical experience in neurology.
