Education and Work Experience: He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen Medical University in 1982 and his master’s degree in Neurology from Sun Yat-sen Medical University in 1989. He has been engaged in clinical practice in neurology for 30 years. Research Interests: Diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy; diagnosis and management of depressive and anxiety disorders.

Medical Expertise: He is highly proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy. He has extensive experience in the rational medication management of childhood epilepsy and distinctive expertise in accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment for women with epilepsy. In neuropsychology, he has strong competence in managing depression, anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, organic mental disorders and related conditions. For cerebrovascular diseases, he is skilled in diagnosis as well as individualized and comprehensive treatment. He has rich experience in neurodegenerative diseases and common neurological symptoms including headache, dizziness and neuralgia. He also has considerable experience in neuroimmune diseases (multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica, neurological complications secondary to immune disorders) and peripheral neuropathy. He actively carries out patient health education. He has delivered multiple lectures on epilepsy, sleep disorders and psychological disorders, helping patients and their families gain correct understanding of the diseases and improve treatment adherence.
