Education and Work Experience: He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from the Fourth Military Medical University in 2004, and his master’s degree in Neurology from The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in 2007. He was awarded his doctoral degree in Neurology from Xiangya Hospital, Central South University in 2010. He conducted postdoctoral research on parkinsonism and other neurodegenerative diseases at UCLA in 2015.

Grants and Publications: He presides over one Outstanding Youth Project, four General Projects and one Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He is also the principal investigator of a sub-project of the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology. As first or corresponding author, he has published more than 80 high-quality SCI papers in journals including Nature Medicine (IF: 87.2), Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy (IF: 40.8), Nature Communications (IF: 17.6) and Acta Neuropathologica (IF: 15.8).

Research Interests: Neurodegenerative diseases.

Medical Expertise: He is mainly engaged in the diagnosis, treatment and development of new therapeutic technologies for Parkinson’s disease, cerebral small vessel disease and inherited neurological disorders.
