Education and Work Experience: He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Sun Yat-sen Medical University in 1991 and has been engaged in pediatric clinical practice ever since. He received his doctoral degree in Pediatrics in 2007.

Publications: He has published more than 20 papers as first or corresponding author in domestic and international core journals, including 3 SCI articles.

Monographs: He has contributed to four monographs.

Awards: He won the Second Prize in the Young and Middle-aged Teacher Teaching Competition (English Track) of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in 2007. He was awarded Excellent Teacher of the hospital for the academic years 2008–2009 and 2010–2011. In 2011, he was recognized as an Excellent Instructor for the Grand Prize at the 2nd National Clinical Skills Competition for Medical Undergraduates.

Research Interests: Neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, neonatal infection, follow-up of high-risk preterm infants, and growth and metabolic regulation of preterm, small-for-gestational-age and large-for-gestational-age infants.

Medical Expertise: Specializes in neonatal disorders. He has abundant experience in intensive care for critically ill preterm infants, neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, neonatal infection, follow-up of high-risk preterm infants, as well as growth and metabolic regulation of preterm, small-for-gestational-age and large-for-gestational-age infants.
