Work Experience

After obtaining his MD from Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat‑sen University in 2013, he has been working at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat‑sen University ever since. He completed an exchange internship at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), USA, and had a one‑secondment with the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong.

Research Profile

He presides over research projects funded by Guangdong Weiji Medical Development Foundation and Guangdong Medical Research Fund. He participates in multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects and key R&D programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He has published several papers in gastroenterology journals including Gastroenterology, NMO, JGH, JNM, Surg Endosc, Int J Antimicrob Agent and CTG.

Clinical Expertise

He specializes in the diagnosis and management of functional gastrointestinal disorders and gastrointestinal motility disorders, with extensive experience in gastroesophageal reflux disease, dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, achalasia, eosinophilic esophagitis and Barrett’s esophagus. He is proficient in the interpretation and application of esophageal manometry, esophageal reflux monitoring, anorectal manometry and biofeedback therapy. He is skilled in digestive endoscopy for precise diagnosis and minimally invasive therapy. He also has solid expertise in managing common digestive diseases such as chronic gastritis, peptic ulcer, Helicobacter pylori infection and chronic hepatobiliary diseases.
