Work Experience

He has been working at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat‑sen University since 1987. He received one year of training at University College London, UK, and worked for two years at the University of British Columbia, Canada. He has been supported by several provincial and municipal research grants and has published more than 100 papers on endocrine and metabolic diseases in domestic and international journals.

Clinical Expertise

He has extensive experience and in-depth insights into endocrine and metabolic disorders including hypothalamic‑pituitary diseases, diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, adrenal diseases, osteoporosis, female perimenopausal syndrome and obesity. His scope covers long‑term management of various pituitary tumors such as acromegaly/gigantism and prolactinoma, diagnosis and treatment of Cushing’s syndrome of diverse causes, congenital or secondary hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism and thyroid‑associated ophthalmopathy. He aims to build standardized long‑term shared care systems for specific diseases combining intelligent medical records.
