Education and Work Experience

MD, Doctoral Supervisor. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Clinical Medicine, Sun Yat‑sen University of Medical Sciences in 1996. From September 2013 to August 2015, he carried out research on insulin signaling pathways in the Department of Pharmacology, UT Southwestern Medical Center, USA. Supported by the Cheng Yu Tung Scholarship, he took part in clinical research on fatty liver disease at Queen Mary Hospital, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong from March to May 2017.

Research Interests

Short‑term intensive insulin therapy for type 2 diabetes mellitus, insulin resistance and insulin receptor disorders, diagnosis and management of rare endocrine diseases.

Clinical Expertise

He has worked in the field of endocrinology for more than 20 years. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, endocrine adverse events related to immunotherapy for malignant tumors, fatty liver disease and gout. He has rich experience in managing rare and special cases such as type A insulin resistance syndrome, fulminant type 1 diabetes mellitus, tumor‑induced hypophosphatemic rickets and autoimmune hypoglycemia.
