He was awarded the title of the 11th "Yangcheng Outstanding Doctor" and the 2024 "Good Doctor of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat‑sen University".

Research Achievements

He has presided over 2 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project of the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province and 1 key R&D project of the Guangzhou Science and Technology Program. He holds 2 invention patents. His main research findings have been published in journals including JAMA Surgery, eBiomedicine, Oncogene, Thyroid and Endocrinology.

Clinical Expertise

Treatment and full-cycle management of diabetes mellitus and its acute and chronic complications; minimally invasive therapy for thyroid diseases especially thyroid neoplasms and targeted therapy for thyroid eye disease; treatment and whole-process management of metabolic disorders such as obesity, fatty liver disease and gout; diagnosis and treatment of parathyroid diseases, osteoporosis and other metabolic diseases; diagnosis and treatment of neuroendocrine tumors including pituitary and adrenal tumors.
