Education and Work Experience

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Wuhan University in 2006, Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from Sun Yat‑sen University in 2009, and Doctoral degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012. He has been working in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat‑sen University since 2012. He visited Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University for advanced study in 2023.

Research Profile

He has presided over one Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published more than 10 papers as the first or corresponding author.

Clinical Expertise

Diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic and immune diseases including systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren’s syndrome, ankylosing spondylitis, dermatomyositis, systemic vasculitis and gouty arthritis. He has rich experience in immune‑related organ damage and emergency management of critically ill patients with rheumatic diseases, and focuses on individualized therapy and long‑term chronic disease management.
