Education and Work Experience
After obtaining his doctoral degree from Sun Yat‑sen University, he has continued to work at this hospital. He is a Chief Physician and Doctoral Supervisor. He is a recipient of the “Ke Lin Rising Star Talent” of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat‑sen University and was selected as one of the “Outstanding Young and Middle‑aged Physicians of Guangdong” in 2022.
Research Achievements
He has published more than 20 papers in Chinese and English, several of which appeared in top international rheumatology journals including Arthritis & Rheumatology and Nature Communications. His works have been cited by high‑impact journals such as Nature Reviews Rheumatology and Pharmacological Reviews. He has presided over 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 2 projects of the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province. He also serves as a reviewer for internationally renowned journals including Arthritis Research & Therapy and Journal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine.
Publications
He participated in the translation of Kelley's Textbook of Rheumatology, and contributed to rheumatology textbooks including Textbook of Clinical Rheumatology and Diagnostic Thinking for Common Clinical Manifestations in Internal Medicine.

Basic and clinical research on systemic lupus erythematosus, autoinflammatory diseases, and rare and difficult rheumatic and immune disorders.

He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the following conditions:
- Common rheumatic diseases: lupus erythematosus, arthritis, spondylitis, myositis, Sjögren’s syndrome, vasculitis, connective tissue disease‑associated interstitial lung disease, gout, psoriatic arthritis, etc.
- Rare and difficult disorders: systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), IgG4‑related disease, ANCA‑associated vasculitis, polyarteritis nodosa, Takayasu arteritis, Behçet’s disease, adult‑onset Still’s disease, sarcoidosis, SAPHO syndrome, Rosai‑Dorfman disease, Schnitzler syndrome and ROSAH syndrome.
- Unexplained generalized pain and fever.
- Tumor‑associated immune diseases.
- Immune‑related infertility and recurrent miscarriage.
- Medical management of non‑lactational mastitis. He holds unique insights especially in the diagnosis and management of rare and challenging rheumatic diseases.
