Education and Work Experience

MD, Chief Physician, Master’s Supervisor. He obtained his doctoral degree at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat‑sen University in 2014 and joined the hospital upon graduation. He was promoted to Chief Physician of the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat‑sen University in 2026.

Research Achievements

He has presided over 3 national research projects, 4 provincial and ministerial projects and 1 municipal project. He has published more than 20 papers as first author, co-first author or corresponding author in key domestic and international medical journals, including top rheumatology journals such as ARD and AR.

Research Interests

Pathogenesis and clinical research of rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and systemic lupus erythematosus, with a particular focus on rheumatoid arthritis.

Clinical Expertise

With more than ten years of clinical experience, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common rheumatic diseases including ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriatic arthritis, gout, polymyositis/dermatomyositis, systemic sclerosis, Sjögren’s syndrome, systemic vasculitis and Behçet’s disease, adult-onset Still’s disease. He has rich experience in the management of severe and refractory cases such as lupus crisis, lupus-related neuromyelitis optica, severe vasculitis, connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung disease, IgG4-related disease and macrophage activation syndrome. He is skilled in the long-term management of chronic conditions including ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis and gouty arthritis.
