Research Achievements

His main research interests focus on IgA nephropathy, peritoneal dialysis and hypertensive nephropathy. He has published 16 SCI papers as first author or co-first author in recent years. He has presided over the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project of the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, one Guangzhou science and technology project and one Young Faculty Training Program of Sun Yat‑sen University. He received the 2024 “Ye Ren-Gao & Li You-Ji” Award for Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Clinical Physicians.

Clinical Expertise

He has long been engaged in clinical practice, teaching and research in nephrology. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common and difficult renal diseases including hematuria, proteinuria, IgA nephropathy, nephrotic syndrome, hypertensive nephropathy, diabetic nephropathy, lupus nephritis and chronic kidney failure. He is proficient in renal biopsy, arteriovenous fistula creation and peritoneal dialysis catheter placement.
