Education and Work Experience

He received his undergraduate degree from Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat‑sen University in 2003 and his Doctor of Medicine in Internal Medicine from Sun Yat‑sen University in 2008. Since graduation, he has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching and research in the Department of Nephrology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat‑sen University.

Publications & Research Projects

He has published more than 10 SCI papers, including 6 as first or co-first author. He has presided over 5 research projects including the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Doctoral Fund of the Ministry of Education, and Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province. He has participated in compiling several nephrology monographs.

Honors & Achievements

He has been awarded the title of Excellent Teacher at university and hospital levels on multiple occasions. He won the “Ye Ren-Gao & Li You-Ji” Award for Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Clinical Teachers in 2016. His paper received the Best Paper Award from the Chinese Society of Nephrology, Chinese Medical Association. He has presented his research findings at many international nephrology conferences.

Research Interests

Lupus nephritis, nephrotic syndrome and chronic kidney failure.

Clinical Expertise

He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various renal diseases, including primary glomerulonephritis, tubulointerstitial injury, secondary kidney diseases (hypertensive renal injury, diabetic nephropathy, lupus nephritis, etc.), acute kidney injury and chronic kidney failure. He is proficient in renal biopsy and related procedures.
