Education and Work Experience

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in July 1997 and has been working in the Department of Internal Medicine at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University ever since. He holds a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from Sun Yat-sen University and is a Master’s Supervisor. He has long been engaged in frontline clinical work in general respiratory wards, Medical ICU, and the Respiratory Diagnosis and Interventional Therapy Center. Feb 2005 – Jul 2006: Visiting Scholar at Vanderbilt University, USA. He received short-term training in respiratory endoscopy at Thoracic Hospitals in Düsseldorf and Heidelberg University, Germany, in 2012, 2016 and 2018 respectively.
