Education and Work Experience

He graduated from the 5-year English-taught Program in Clinical Medicine, Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University in 2002. He pursued an integrated master’s-doctoral program in the Department of Hematology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from 2005 to 2010 and obtained his doctoral degree. He has been working in the Department of Hematology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University since 2010. As the second contributor, he won the Third Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award and the Second Prize of Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award. He has presided over one Young Scientists Fund project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Clinical Expertise

He has focused on the diagnosis and treatment of multiple myeloma and other plasma cell disorders for more than 10 years. His main focus is multiple myeloma, and he applies flow cytometry to monitor minimal residual disease for prognostic assessment.
