He completed his undergraduate studies at the Department of Stomatology, Wuhan University. Research Interests

Surgical and comprehensive treatment of benign and malignant oral and maxillofacial tumors; multidisciplinary management of multi-space oral and maxillofacial infections.

Clinical Expertise

He has long been engaged in clinical practice, teaching and research in oral and maxillofacial surgery, with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common and complicated conditions in this field. (Not for dental filling.) His scope includes malignant tumors such as tongue carcinoma, buccal carcinoma, gingival carcinoma, floor-of-mouth carcinoma and parotid carcinoma; benign lesions including jaw cysts and benign tumors of the parotid, submandibular and sublingual glands. He specializes in surgical management of maxillary and mandibular fractures as well as condylar fractures. He has achieved favorable outcomes with sclerotherapy for hemangiomas and vascular malformations. He is also experienced in managing multi-space oral and maxillofacial infections, necrotizing fasciitis, impacted teeth and complicated impacted wisdom teeth.
