Research Achievements

His research focuses on clinical and basic studies of oral and maxillofacial tumors, aiming to develop early prediction markers for invasion and metastasis of oral squamous cell carcinoma and improve its therapeutic outcomes. He has published more than 190 papers, including over 90 SCI articles in renowned journals such as Cancer Communications, Bioactive Materials, Molecular Therapy, Oncogene, Cancer Letters, International Journal of Oral Science, International Journal of Biological Sciences, Molecular Oncology, and Free Radical Biology and Medicine. He has an H-index of 33 with more than 3000 citations.

Clinical Expertise

He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common and complex oral and maxillofacial conditions, including comprehensive management of oral and maxillofacial malignancies, sequential treatment of cleft lip and palate, orthognathic surgery, alveolar surgery, emergency management of maxillofacial trauma, diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular disorders, oral and maxillofacial neuropathies, salivary gland diseases, and reconstruction of soft and hard tissue defects in the oral and maxillofacial region. He has pioneered multiple new clinical techniques and research programs, including enhanced recovery after surgery for oral cancer patients, minimally invasive therapy for oral and maxillofacial vascular malformations, and clinical studies on targeted and immunotherapy for oral squamous cell carcinoma.
