Jul 2004 – Present: Department of Stomatology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He has served successively as Resident Physician, Attending Physician and Associate Chief Physician.

Research Interests

Management of multiple oral and maxillofacial fractures; surgical and comprehensive treatment of benign and malignant soft and hard tissue tumors in the oral and maxillofacial region.

Clinical Expertise

He has long been engaged in clinical practice, teaching and research in oral and maxillofacial surgery, with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common and complicated disorders in this field. He specializes in surgical management of complex and multiple maxillofacial fractures involving the jaw, zygoma and orbit. He is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of benign oral tumors and malignant tumors including tongue carcinoma, buccal carcinoma, gingival carcinoma, floor-of-mouth carcinoma, palatal carcinoma and lip carcinoma. He manages soft tissue cysts, jaw cysts and jaw tumors (odontogenic tumors, maxillary sinus carcinoma, central jaw carcinoma), as well as salivary gland tumors of the parotid, submandibular and sublingual glands. He also has rich experience in sclerotherapy for hemangiomas and vascular malformations.
