Education and Work Experience

He received his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1994, a master’s degree from the same department in 2001, and a doctoral degree from The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in 2010. He was appointed Associate Chief Physician of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in 2015.

Clinical Expertise

He has over 30 years of clinical experience in stomatology. He specializes in minimally invasive dental implantation for various edentulous conditions, including immediate implantation and immediate restoration, aesthetic implant rehabilitation, and bone augmentation procedures for bone defects such as internal and external maxillary sinus elevation and bone splitting. He is experienced in implant-supported restoration for partial and full-arch edentulism. He is skilled in minimally invasive extraction of complex, impacted teeth, alveolar ridge preservation after extraction, and alveoloplasty prior to prosthodontic treatment. He also manages a wide range of common and complicated oral and maxillofacial surgical conditions.
