Education and Work Experience He is an Associate Chief Physician and holds a Doctoral degree in the Department of Ophthalmology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He completed his undergraduate study in Clinical Medicine at Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University, and obtained his doctoral degree in Ophthalmology from Sun Yat-sen University in 2017. Research Achievements His research focuses on basic and clinical studies of common ophthalmic diseases including diabetic retinopathy, refractive errors and cataract, as well as low-vision rehabilitation and the management of strabismus and amblyopia. He has published more than 30 SCI papers in recent years, among which over 10 are first-author or co-first-author articles, with the highest single impact factor of 8.78.

Clinical Expertise He specializes in strabismus, amblyopia, ocular diseases associated with systemic conditions (especially diabetic retinopathy), macular disorders and other fundus diseases, cataract and refractive errors. He performs laser therapy for the anterior and posterior segments of the eye and a full range of routine ophthalmic surgeries.
