Education and Work Experience

He completed his undergraduate study in Clinical Medicine in 1991, followed by postgraduate studies in Surgery at Sun Yat-sen University, where he obtained his Doctoral degree in Medicine in 2003. He has 20 years of clinical experience in general surgery and hepatic transplantation surgery.

Publications

By 2010, he had published more than 30 papers in domestic and international core journals, including 16 SCI articles as first author.

Research Interests

Liver transplantation for end-stage liver disease, surgical treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma, surgical management of benign and malignant hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, surgical treatment of portal hypertension due to liver cirrhosis, and liver transplantation for decompensated cirrhosis.

Clinical Expertise

He specializes in surgical treatment of hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, liver transplantation and pancreatic transplantation. He has extensive experience in managing complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders and profound expertise in their surgical care. His scope includes:

1. Diagnosis and surgical resection of hepatic, biliary and pancreatic tumors, and liver transplantation for hepatic malignancies.
2. Diagnosis and treatment of gallbladder diseases and hepatolithiasis.
3. Surgical management of portal hypertension secondary to cirrhosis and liver transplantation for end-stage cirrhosis.
