Research Achievements His research has long focused on basic and translational studies of ischemia-free liver transplantation, organ preservation and repair, and the prevention and treatment of tumor recurrence and metastasis after liver transplantation. He has published more than 30 SCI papers as first or (co-)corresponding author in high-impact journals including Nature Protocols, American Journal of Transplantation, Clinical and Molecular Hepatology and Annals of Surgery. He has also co-authored multiple papers in top international journals such as Cell and Journal of Hepatology. Committed to the translation of organ medicine research, he has filed 8 national invention patents, among which 6 have been granted.

Clinical Expertise He has long practiced hepatobiliary surgery, liver transplantation and combined multi-organ transplantation. He specializes in the management of end-stage liver diseases including cirrhosis complicated with hepatocellular carcinoma, unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma and liver failure of various etiologies. His technical focus is ischemia-free liver transplantation, which helps reduce surgical risks, tumor recurrence and complications for improved long-term survival. He emphasizes refined whole-course management from preoperative evaluation to postoperative rehabilitation, formulates individualized anti-rejection regimens, manages complications and provides long-term follow-up to support stable recovery.
