He has served successively as Attending Physician, Associate Chief Physician, Chief Physician, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Deputy Director of Renal Transplant Division. He also serves as Vice President of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University Guizhou Hospital.

Research Achievements He has published more than 20 SCI papers as (co-)first or corresponding author. He has led 6 new clinical technologies in the hospital and presided over and participated in 7 provincial and higher-level research projects. As a key contributor, he was awarded the First Prize, Third Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the Third Prize of Guangzhou Science and Technology Progress Award. He has participated in compiling 4 monographs. He has pioneered a number of domestic and provincial innovative clinical techniques including laparoscopic and robotic minimally invasive living donor nephrectomy, ABO-incompatible kidney transplantation and transplantation for sensitized recipients. In addition, he led the world’s first in-situ isolated perfusion protection therapy for kidney and the second-stage ischemia-free kidney transplantation. He has managed numerous complicated and challenging renal transplant cases, including renal allograft artery stenosis, ureteral stenosis or obstruction of the graft, and fertility management solutions for female renal transplant recipients of childbearing age.

Clinical Expertise He specializes in kidney transplantation, living donor kidney transplantation, ABO-incompatible kidney transplantation and ischemia-free kidney transplantation. He has performed over 1,000 kidney transplant operations. In particular, the volume and success rate of living donor kidney transplantation under his operation rank among the leading level in the province.
