Education and Work Experience He obtained his master’s degree in Oncological Surgery from the seven-year Clinical Medicine Program of Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2010. He was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree by Sun Yat-sen University in 2013 and has worked at the hospital ever since. He was once supported by the China Scholarship Council to conduct one-year research on tumor immunology at Northwestern University, USA. He was appointed Chief Physician in 2025. He specializes in open radical surgery for head and neck tumors including laryngeal cancer and hypopharyngeal cancer, and focuses on standardized management of head and neck neoplasms. He also has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating other common diseases of the nose, pharynx, larynx and neck. He was honored as one of the Second Batch of Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Doctors in Guangdong Province.

Research Interests Clinical prognosis and mechanisms of adult and pediatric obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). He has presided over one Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, three Natural Science Foundation projects of Guangdong Province and two other provincial and municipal research projects. He has published 12 SCI papers as first or co-first author and 3 as corresponding author, including 2 papers with an impact factor above 10 and the highest impact factor of 22.5. He serves as associate editor of Strategies and Techniques of Minimally Invasive Laryngopharyngeal Surgery, the first domestic monograph on laryngopharyngeal minimally invasive surgery, and the first domestic training manual for laryngopharyngeal minimally invasive procedures. He is also the associate editor of the national postgraduate textbook Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He won the second prize in the Medical Group of the Sun Yat-sen University Young Teacher Teaching Competition.

Clinical Expertise He specializes in comprehensive evaluation and standardized management of snoring in adults and children, and performs multi-level surgery for sleep apnea. He is proficient in endoscopic minimally invasive treatment of benign and malignant laryngopharyngeal lesions such as laryngeal cancer, laryngeal papilloma, vocal fold leukoplakia and vocal fold polyps. As a core instructor for laryngopharyngeal endoscopic minimally invasive surgery, he has delivered 50 national training workshops across China.
