Education and Work Experience Associate Chief Physician, Department of Otorhinolaryngology, and Director of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, East Campus of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He has nearly 30 years of clinical experience in otorhinolaryngology. He is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently-occurring diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses, middle ear, laryngopharynx and head and neck. He performs more than 400 various otorhinolaryngological operations annually. He specializes in endoscopic minimally invasive surgery for middle ear and sinonasal diseases, as well as head and neck tumor surgery including parotid and submandibular gland tumors and laryngeal neoplasms. In particular, he performs otoendoscopic tympanoplasty, ossicular chain reconstruction, attic, antrum and mastoidotomy and reconstruction for chronic otitis media, middle ear cholesteatoma, tympanosclerosis and otosclerosis. He also has profound attainments in endoscopic sinus surgery for nasal polypectomy, sinus opening, nasal septoplasty, inferior turbinate plasty, dacryocystorhinostomy, optic nerve decompression and resection of nasal tumors.
