Education and Work Experience He graduated from the five-year Clinical Medicine Program of Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University in 2011. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Otorhinolaryngology from The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in 2016 and has worked in the hospital ever since. He has won the annual Excellent Staff Award of the department many times after taking up his post. He visited and studied at the Skull Base Surgery Center of the University of Pittsburgh, USA in 2015. He has published multiple papers as first or corresponding author. He presides over one project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province project, one Guangzhou Science and Technology Program project and one Guangdong Medical Research Fund project. He is a key contributor to the national Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Deep Neck Abscess (2022). With advanced training at the Skull Base Surgery Center in Pittsburgh, USA, he has profound knowledge of surgical anatomy of the nose and skull base. He is also proficient in the management of deep neck abscess.

Research Interests Enhanced recovery after sinus surgery; pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis; anatomy and surgical approaches for endonasal skull base surgery; diagnosis and treatment of deep neck abscess.

Clinical Expertise He specializes in the diagnosis and endoscopic surgical treatment of rhinosinusitis, allergic rhinitis, pediatric snoring and sinonasal skull base tumors. In particular, he has rich experience and achieves favorable outcomes in endoscopic minimally invasive surgery for chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyps, benign and malignant sinonasal tumors, adenoid hypertrophy and tonsillar hypertrophy.
