Education and Work Experience He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Sun Yat-sen University and has worked at the hospital ever since. He completed a one-and-a-half-year visiting scholarship at the Medical University of South Carolina, USA.

Publications He has published more than 30 otology-related papers, including 30 SCI articles.

Research Interests Pathology of inner ear diseases, mechanisms of inner ear injury and protective strategies, clinical inner ear imaging; epidemiological investigation and population intervention strategies for presbycusis.

Clinical Expertise He specializes in the comprehensive diagnosis and management of vertigo and hearing loss, especially the treatment and rehabilitation of Meniere’s disease, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) and sudden sensorineural hearing loss. He holds a national qualification as a hearing aid dispenser and is proficient in hearing aid fitting and guidance. He also has distinctive expertise in minimally invasive management of chronic otitis media.
