Education and Work Experience Doctor of Medicine, Master’s Supervisor, Visiting Scholar at Texas A&M University, USA. He completed the combined master-doctoral program and obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Otorhinolaryngology at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. During his doctoral study, he spent one year as a visiting scholar at the Institute of Regenerative Medicine, Texas A&M University. He has received the National Doctoral Scholarship, the title of Outstanding Postgraduate of Guangdong Province and Outstanding Doctoral Graduate of Sun Yat-sen University. After graduation, he joined the hospital’s clinical postdoctoral station. He received rigorous standardized clinical training and chief resident training at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He has served sequentially as Resident Physician, Attending Physician and Associate Chief Physician. He has rich experience in common otorhinolaryngological diseases and now focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of otological diseases, especially otoendoscopic and otomicrosurgery.

Clinical Expertise:

1. Otoendoscopic and otomicrosurgery: Standardized management of middle ear diseases including chronic suppurative otitis media, middle ear cholesteatoma and ossicular chain disruption; auditory reconstruction surgery; comprehensive treatment of otitis media with effusion, including adenotonsillectomy, myringotomy with tympanostomy tube insertion, etc.
2. Implantable auditory devices: Cochlear implantation, bone conduction implant and other artificial hearing technologies.
3. Lateral skull base surgery: Proficient in the management of lateral skull base tumors such as glomus jugulare tumor, vestibular schwannoma, and external/middle ear carcinoma.
