Work Experience He received systematic professional training at Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences. After graduation, he has worked on the front line of otorhinolaryngology and continuously participated in further education at home and abroad. His main specialty is otology. He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of otological and auditory disorders, with comprehensive and standardized otological and audiological skills, especially otomicrosurgery. He has devoted himself to the clinical practice and research of auditory rehabilitation for 30 years, and has extensive experience in surgical management of otitis media, air-conduction and bone-conduction hearing aid fitting, and implantable auditory devices including cochlear implants and bone conduction implants. He manages more than 100 cochlear implant patients annually. He was the first surgeon in South China to perform Baha‑Attract bone conduction implant surgery and currently maintains the largest case series for this procedure in the region. He has carried out pioneering clinical research on auditory rehabilitation for microtia and rehabilitative management of residual hearing loss after routine tympanoplasty for chronic otitis media. As the principal investigator, he leads the feasibility study of the Baha‑Attract system for hearing loss associated with chronic otitis media.

Clinical Expertise He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of otological and auditory diseases and is highly skilled in otomicrosurgery. He has rich experience in hearing reconstruction for otitis media, systematic management of tinnitus and hearing loss, auditory rehabilitation for microtia, and various complex implantable auditory procedures. He has systematic experience in surgery and perioperative management for simultaneous or staged bilateral auditory implantation, cochlear implantation for malformed middle and inner ear, post-radiation hearing loss from nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and presbycusis. He also has extensive experience in rehabilitative intervention for hearing loss following tympanoplasty for chronic otitis media and vestibular schwannoma resection.
