Education and Work Experience He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1997 and his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2005. He has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching and research of otorhinolaryngology for more than 20 years. In recent years, he performs over 300 middle ear, inner ear and lateral skull base operations annually, with distinctive expertise in otoendoscopic minimally invasive surgery. He has presided over 4 provincial and ministerial research grants and participated in 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects as a key member.

Publications He has published more than 40 core papers in otology, including 7 SCI papers and 9 articles in Chinese Medical Association journals. He is one of the earliest scholars in China conducting serial research on sudden sensorineural hearing loss caused by inner ear hemorrhage.

Clinical Expertise He is proficient in managing common otorhinolaryngological diseases, with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of otological disorders. He specializes in otoendoscopic minimally invasive middle and inner ear surgery, as well as microscopic cochlear implantation and lateral skull base surgery. He has profound knowledge and rich clinical experience in various ear malformations, otitis media, middle ear cholesteatoma, facial nerve lesions, lateral skull base diseases, and inner ear disorders including hearing loss, tinnitus and vertigo.
