Education and Work Experience He received his Bachelor of Medicine degree from Wuhan University in 1991, Master of Medicine from Jinan University in 1997, and Doctor of Medicine in Clinical Surgery from Sun Yat-sen University in 2009. 1991 – 1994: Resident Surgeon, Hankou Branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of Wuhan University 1997 – 2006: Attending Physician and Associate Chief Physician, Department of Orthopedics, Shunde Hospital, Guangdong Since 2009: He has been working in the Department of Orthopedics, Eastern Branch of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, specializing in trauma orthopedics and joint surgery as Associate Chief Physician. He has performed a large number of reduction and internal/external fixation procedures for joint and periarticular fractures, including numerous minimally invasive surgeries such as intramedullary nailing for intertrochanteric femoral fractures. He has rich experience in arthroplasty for end-stage joint diseases. He also has substantial experience in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic sports injuries related to racket sports, exercise and training protection, as well as arthroscopic management.

Research Interests Repair and reconstruction of bone and joint injuries; prevention and treatment of sports injuries and application of arthroscopy.

Clinical Expertise: He has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching and research in trauma orthopedics and joint surgery for 30 years. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of lower extremity bone and joint lesions, especially periarticular fractures, injuries and soft tissue injuries. He has extensive clinical experience in the repair and reconstruction of lesions around the hip, knee and ankle joints, as well as the management of nonunion and infection after internal fixation of bone and joint fractures.
