Education and Work Experience:

1. He graduated from the Department of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1984. Since graduation, he has been engaged in clinical practice, research and teaching in the Department of Orthopedics at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (formerly Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences). He has received professional training in Germany.
2. He has successively held the positions of Teaching Assistant, Attending Physician, Associate Chief Physician, Chief Physician and Professor.

Research Interests:

1. Surgical treatment of osteoarticular disorders of various etiologies
2. Repair and reconstruction of sports injuries
3. Repair and reconstruction of extremity fractures

Clinical Expertise: A senior and distinguished orthopedic expert, Professor, Chief Physician and Doctoral Supervisor with more than 30 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching and research of orthopedics. He currently focuses on joint surgery and reconstructive surgery for sports injuries. His expertise covers:

1. Arthroplasty for joint disorders including degenerative osteoarthritis in the elderly, avascular necrosis of the femoral head, developmental dysplasia of the hip combined with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, femoral neck fracture, and joint lesions caused by ankylosing spondylitis.
2. Surgical treatment of congenital developmental dysplasia and dislocation of the hip in children, developmental dysplasia of the hip in young adults, and developmental dysplasia of the hip combined with osteoarthritis in middle-aged and elderly patients.
3. Repair and reconstruction of joint injuries, including meniscal tears, cruciate ligament injuries and collateral ligament injuries of the knee, as well as rotator cuff and glenoid injuries of the shoulder.
4. Surgical management of various extremity fractures.
5. Surgical treatment of congenital osteoarticular diseases and deformities of the extremities.
