Academic Achievements He has published more than 20 SCI papers, including 1 article with an impact factor above 20 and 6 articles above 10. One of his publications was selected among the Top 50 Most Influential Orthopedic Papers of 2020, and he was awarded the Second Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Award. His primary research interests cover hot topics such as stem cells and neural repair, as well as heterotopic ossification. He has been invited to deliver speeches at multiple international academic conferences. He obtained the Young Scientific Talent Program supported by the Guangdong Association for Science and Technology in 2025 and was honored as a KeLin Talent of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in 2024.

He has focused on the diagnosis and treatment of spinal disorders for more than ten years and gained rich experience in various common spinal conditions. His main scope includes degenerative spinal diseases and spinal deformities, such as lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, cervical spondylosis, spinal deformities and spinal cord injury. Adhering to the philosophy of prevention priority, he advocates moderate treatment combining rehabilitation and surgery for spinal disorders. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery for lumbar disc herniation and osteoporotic vertebral fractures, lumbar nerve decompression and internal fixation, anterior and posterior cervical decompression, and spinal deformity correction.
