Education and Work Experience He obtained his Doctoral degree in Orthopedics from Sun Yat-sen University in 2008, Master’s degree in Surgery from Sun Yat-sen University in 2003, and Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1998.

He is a nationally recognized high-level leading talent. He has long collaborated with the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention to carry out scoliosis screening across Guangdong Province, and led the establishment of the Guangdong Science Popularization Base for Children and Adolescent Scoliosis. His research involves identifying pathogenic genes, exploring disease mechanisms and helping block the hereditary transmission of the disease to offspring.

Research Interests Spine surgery, developmental malformations and degenerative disorders of the skeletal system.

Clinical Expertise He specializes in the management of scoliosis and kyphosis, cervical spondylosis, thoracic and lumbar spinal stenosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, spinal osteotomy and correction, en bloc resection of spinal tumors, posterior atlantoaxial fixation, and minimally invasive spinal surgery. In particular, he holds unique research insights into precise pedicle screw placement, a core technique in spine surgery.
