Research Interests Pathogenesis and minimally invasive treatment of degenerative spinal disorders and low back and leg pain.

Clinical Expertise: He focuses on the diagnosis and management of spinal disorders. Funded by the 2012–2013 International Doctoral Cooperation Program of Sun Yat-sen University, he spent one year as a visiting scholar in spine surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, USA. His main clinical scope covers surgical treatment of degenerative spinal diseases, spinal cord injury and spinal deformities. He has accumulated rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cervical spondylosis, lumbar spinal stenosis, lumbar disc herniation, spinal trauma, spinal infection and spinal tumors, and is proficient in a full range of minimally invasive spinal techniques.
