He obtained his Doctor of Clinical Medicine degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2004. He is Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor and recipient of the 3rd Yangcheng Outstanding Doctor. From February to June 2010, he pursued advanced training in endourology and microsurgical andrology at Wake Forest School of Medicine, USA. He received high-level training in advanced microsurgical andrological surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine in the United States twice, in August 2012 and March 2016.

He specializes in microsurgical procedures for male infertility (microsurgical testicular sperm extraction, microsurgical varicocelectomy, microsurgical vasoepididymostomy, microsurgical vasovasostomy, microsurgical denervation of the spermatic cord, etc.), endoscopic surgery for obstructive azoospermia caused by ejaculatory duct obstruction (seminal vesiculoscopy and transurethral ejaculatory duct incision), circumcision and penile plastic surgery. He has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility (oligoasthenospermia, teratozoospermia and azoospermia), erectile and ejaculatory dysfunction, varicocele, chronic testicular pain, male genital tumors, and prostate diseases (chronic prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer).
