Education and Work Experience: She graduated in Clinical Medicine from Sun Yat-sen University (formerly Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences) in 2003 and was admitted to the Master’s program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University via recommendation and exemption from the entrance examination in the same year. She has worked at the hospital after graduation in 2006. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from Sun Yat-sen University in 2014. She has 15 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and specializes in intrauterine diagnosis and fetal therapy, performing nearly one thousand fetal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures annually. As a core team member, she took part in the diagnosis and management of the first domestic cases of intrauterine transfusion for maternal-fetal MN blood group incompatibility, twin intrauterine transfusion, and fetal thrombocytopenia, among other highly complex cases.

Publications: She has published more than 30 articles related to maternal-fetal medicine and fetal developmental anomalies in journals including Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases, Prenatal Diagnosis, Experimental and Therapeutic Medicine, Taiwanese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Placenta, American Journal of Medical Genetics Part A, and Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Among them, 4 are first-author SCI papers and 5 are first-author articles in the Chinese core series journals.

Research Interests: Her research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of fetal developmental anomalies. She has applied chromosomal microarray analysis and sequencing technologies to investigate the molecular basis of fetal short-limb dysplasia and congenital heart disease.

Clinical Expertise: She has long been engaged in obstetrics and gynecology clinical practice. She specializes in eugenics consultation, invasive prenatal diagnosis and fetal intrauterine therapy. She has in-depth research and extensive clinical experience in pre-pregnancy consultation and diagnosis for high-risk pregnancies (advanced maternal age, genetic disorders), medication counseling during pregnancy, prenatal diagnosis of genetic diseases, diagnosis and treatment of fetal conditions, management of complex twin pregnancies, maternal-fetal blood group incompatibility, fetal in-utero assessment and intrauterine interventions, including multifetal pregnancy reduction, rapid amnioreduction, amnioinfusion, and intrauterine transfusion.
