Education and Work Experience: She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University and her doctoral degree from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. During her PhD studies, she was sponsored by the Chinese government for joint training at the University of Western Ontario, Canada. She has remained at the hospital after graduation, having successively served as Physician, Attending Physician, Associate Chief Physician, Chief Physician and Doctoral Supervisor. She is currently Deputy Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Deputy Director of the Teaching and Research Section of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was honored as an Outstanding Young Medical Talent of Guangdong Province in 2019. In 2020, she joined the frontline medical team of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University supporting Wuhan in the fight against COVID-19.

Publications & Patents: She has published multiple SCI papers as first or corresponding author in influential journals in this field and holds one authorized national utility model patent.

Awards: Outstanding Young Medical Talent of Guangdong Province, 2019.

1. Early screening and mechanistic research of gestational diabetes mellitus
2. Labor management and fetal safety monitoring around delivery
3. Improvement and research & development of safe delivery techniques and instruments

Clinical Expertise: She is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common obstetric and gynecologic disorders. She specializes in comprehensive management of obstetric conditions, including pregnancies complicated with medical and surgical diseases, scarred uterus, placenta previa, twin pregnancy, etc.
