Education and Work Experience: She received her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Peking University. She obtained her master’s degree in 2008 and started to work in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. She was subsequently awarded a master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a doctoral degree in Gynecologic Oncology from Sun Yat-sen University. She was promoted step by step from Resident Physician to Attending Physician and then Associate Chief Physician. She has devoted herself to clinical practice of gynecologic oncology for more than ten years. Since 2017, she has been dispatched to the Eastern Campus of the hospital and served as Deputy Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Awards & Academic Responsibilities: She was honored as “Young Excellent Doctor of Yangcheng, 2021”. She serves as Teaching Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Eastern Campus and Master’s Supervisor. In 2013, she worked as an obstetrics and gynecology instructor for the National Clinical Skills Competition for Medical Students, and guided the undergraduate team of Sun Yat-sen University to win the National Grand Prize. She tutored exchange students from the University of Glasgow, UK in 2016.

Research Interests: Minimally invasive treatment of gynecologic malignancies; evidence-based research on maintenance therapy for patients with epithelial ovarian cancer; clinical trial research on recurrent and refractory gynecologic malignancies.

Clinical Expertise: She is proficient in minimally invasive procedures including gynecologic laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and vaginal surgery. She has rich experience in diagnosing and managing common conditions such as benign and malignant gynecologic tumors, endometriosis, infertility and uterine prolapse via minimally invasive approaches. She has conducted in-depth research on cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and endometrial cancer, keeps up with cutting-edge advances in this field, interprets molecular diagnostic reports, and delivers standardized surgical treatment, chemotherapy, individualized targeted therapy and long-term follow-up management for gynecologic cancers.
