Work Experience: He conducted postdoctoral research at the Gastrointestinal Surgery Center of The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from 2016 to 2018, and has remained at the hospital for clinical practice in gastrointestinal surgery ever since. He was appointed Associate Chief Physician in 2024.

Research Achievements: He has presided over 1 National Natural Science Foundation project, 3 provincial and ministerial research projects and 1 prefectural-level research project. He has published multiple SCI papers in journals including Int J Cancer, Oncogenesis and Cancer Commun.

Research Interests: Basic and clinical research on gastrointestinal malignancies (gastric cancer, small bowel cancer, colorectal cancer, gastrointestinal stromal tumors); clinical research centered on surgical treatment for Borrmann type IV / scirrhous gastric cancer.

Specialties: He is engaged in clinical and basic research of gastrointestinal malignancies. He specializes in standardized surgery (open and laparoscopic procedures) and comprehensive treatment for common digestive tract tumors of the stomach, small intestine and colorectum, as well as retroperitoneal tumors. He manages benign conditions such as abdominal wall hernias (inguinal hernia, incisional hernia, linea alba hernia), anal fistula and hemorrhoids. He has particular expertise in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of Borrmann type IV / scirrhous gastric cancer.
